Summer in Hell:Belle and Sebastian/Michael Dracula/Mother and the Addicts/Voxtrot Collabortion... AND Berlin Odyssey

I've just returned from Glasgow, where I've finished up a recording with members of Michael Dracula, Belle and Sebastian, Mother and the Addicts, and obviously, myself. I'm quite pleased with it. Not sure when it will be finished, if ever. The song was recorded at Green Door Studios.

In other news, I've relocated to Berlin, I'm not sure for what, some sort of inspiration no doubt, so if anybody is kicking about and wants to hang out or play music or whatever, please drop me a line. I'm ready to restart, rewrite, re-everything. No more fear, no more holding back, time for brilsolage. PLUS.... this pink chair in my sublet is BLOODY FANTASTIC.

I don't know what's more exciting: that kickass combination of people and sounds or how I'm imagining that pink chair. Pictuuuuures!

Are you living now in Berlin? So you are going to impregnate yourself with the electronic sounds. Maybe we should be expecting the band to move forward in that direction, shouldn´t we?
Best of luck with your new endeavours and music projects,

Hopefully you find Berlin to be conducive to song writing, because I'm expecting a mind blowing 2nd album. No pressure.

So, how's life in Berlin been treating you for the past month? Learnt any German yet? Thinking about visiting Sweden soon? I'll never tire. I'll be on you like a swarm of idiocy, never letting go until you visit Stockholm.

Seriously though, I hope you're taking care of yourself, that you're having a great time and you're feeling a lot of creativity flowing! Berlin's the city for that, but don't take that as a cue to have to make your own "Low" or even "Achtung Baby"...

I was recently introduced to Voxtrot, and I have to say, it's quite good. I've had Raised by Wolves, Rise up in the Dirt, the start of something, four long days, and future pt 1 on repeat for hours, which is what I do when I become enthralled with a particular band/song. Keep up the good work!! :)
And you're adorable, especially on youtube.

ps: do you write your lyrics, or is it another band member?

also, you should visit houston on tour. austin's great and all, but kind of far away..

and if you ever need a spare drummer, talk to me. just one of my hobbies nowadays (not in a band anymore). :)

Niklas is a wise man (apparently), you should consider coming over. And you know Europe, we're only like fifteen minutes away by train anyway.
